This cottage, ideal for your self-catering Brittany holiday is located in the town of Audierne in the Finistere region of Brittany, France.
Along Audierne's harbour stretches the town's main shopping area with its cafés, bars and restaurants, crêperies, boutiques, the town hall, the tourism office, and a movie theatre.
Saturday and Wednesday mornings there is a farmers' market, where you can browse the stalls for local specialties to bring back to your self-catering holiday cottage. There is also a small, but good quality grocery store called the Petit Casino in the main square next to the market (les Halles) which sells the local catch straight off the fishing boats as well as fruits, vegetables and cheese. You will find large supermarkets at both ends of town, within a short drive. There are also several boulangeries/patisseries in town. Our favorite is closer to home, just down the hill from the cottage.
Additionally a lauderette, and two or three chemists are located in the town center.
